Patricia Smith
With over 20 years of experience in pediatric nursing, Patricia brings clinical excellence, heartfelt compassion, and spiritual grounding to her role at PediaTrust. Her journey began in 1995 as a Licensed Practical Nurse, graduating from Louisiana Delta Community College- West Monroe Campus. She went on to earn her Associate's Degree in Nursing from Louisiana Tech University in 1999, and most recently completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2025 – an achievement that reflects her lifelong commitment to growth and service.
Patricia's background includes extensive work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Manning Family Children's Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana, caring for critically ill children. Her gentle presence, clinical precision, and unwavering faith have made her a trusted advocate for families navigating some of life's most vulnerable moments. Patricia believes that pediatric care is more than medicine; it is a ministry of healing, trust, and restoration. She is the proud mother of two sons, Andrew and Ryan, whose lives continue to inspire her dedication to children and families.
