Full-time Bus Driver
This position is split shift. Morning hours are 6:00am to 10:30am, Afternoon hours are 1:30pm to 5:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport children to and from the facility, ensuring their comfort and security during transit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met.
- Assist children with boarding and exiting the bus as needed, providing support to the attendant.
- Always maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding transportation schedules and any concerns.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class D (Chauffeur’s) license or CDL
- 1 year of Bus / Commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Clean Background check / Drug screen
- CPR Certification (or able to obtain)
- Updated immunizations
- Able to do moderate lifting
- Love interacting with kids
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in childcare
- Healthcare background
- Pediatric care
